There's a word that I know that is a rainbow. Not a cartoon clip-art rainbow of primary colors you find on the color wheel, mind you. It's more than that. It's a photograph with the colors faintly washed out, in that antique vintage way. Green grass growing, sky of blue. Whole image washed under a faintly seen rainbow of colors and sepia tones. Don't worry, I don't suffer from delusions that the world is the same shade of pink you see from behind rose colored glasses. The real world isn't like that, and it would be ugly if it were. Pink isn't beautiful in large doses.

The personality of the word Life isn't "roses," or "pink." The personality of the word Life is just as I have described. It has many different colors falling and washing over it, in many different shades. Sometimes the wash is jarring, and you don't like it, but other times it's very wonderful and artistic and just plain beautiful. It's the little things, caught in snapshots that you will always remember vividly, better than any others. Ice cream cones, children playing dress up in their mother's heels, trees swaying in the breeze, bicycles and tears, and every happy or sad moment you've ever had.

Contentment is another word that's a similar changing shimmer as Life. However, it is purely filled with the greens and blues of a wonderful spring day. It shimmers in the way that the ocean does, shot through with diamonds of sparking light that fill you with air, breath in your lungs, and the relaxed ever-expansive knowledge that you are in the exact moment that you need to be in.
